Meet Dr. Mitts

Dr. D. Alexander Mitts is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society in recognition of his academic excellence and dedication to the profession.

Following dental school, Dr. Mitts spent six years in Blue Springs providing compassionate, high-quality dental care while building lasting relationships with his patients and the community. He later joined Lakebrink Dental in Liberty, where he quickly became known for his attention to detail, commitment to patient comfort, and genuine care for the people he serves. After four years with the practice, he loved the doctor, team, and patients so much that he made the decision to become a partner.

Dr. Mitts enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but he especially loves cosmetic cases where he has the opportunity to completely transform a patient’s smile and confidence. He provides invisible braces and other cosmetic treatments designed to create beautiful, natural-looking results. Because he believes a great smile can truly change someone’s life, he places a strong focus on aesthetics and helping patients feel proud of their smiles.

He is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry and regularly attends continuing education courses and conferences to ensure his patients receive the most modern techniques and high-quality care available.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Mitts and his wife quickly fell in love with the Kansas City area and decided to make it their permanent home. Outside of the office, he enjoys exploring Kansas City with his wife, Christine, and their three children, Genevieve, Everett, and Bennett. In his free time, he also enjoys running, reading, traveling, and cheering on his alma mater, the University of Kansas.
